Rodrigo one of LaLiga's top assist providers
Rodrigo Moreno offers much more than goals to Valencia CF, and he showed this once again in the game against Deportivo Alavés at Mestalla, giving an assist for Maxi Gómez to open the scoring and becoming one of the top providers in LaLiga so far this season.
The striker has now set up three goals for his club: For Kang In against Getafe, Kevin Gameiro against FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou, and his latest contribution at Mestalla. He has also won a penalty against Leganés that was converted by Dani Parejo.

On Matchday 8, the VCF and Spain striker had received the ball from Parejo, and kept his eye out for Gómez. The Uruguayan pushed his shot into the net, and immediately looked over at his teammate to express his gratitude.
Rodrigo was taken off on 58 minutes, replaced by Manu Vallejo, after proving to be a real handful for Alavés. He is still to open his goalscoring account in LaLiga -although he grabbed the winner against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League- but to enable his teammates to flourish.
